Campus and Coronavirus Updates

As of today there are no cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) on campus.

The Fall 2020 semester classes will take place in a mostly remote and/or online setting, with a few exceptions of labs and courses that require face-to-face or hands on instruction. See for details. Courses marked "remote" but with weekly times will have remote synchronous meetings at those times. 

For on campus classes/meetings, all required safety protocols including social distancing, health checks, and proper usage of PPE, will be implemented. See the reopening plan.

Offices will reopen with limited staff on campus when Fall semester begins and the rest of the staff will be accessible remotely so no services are interrupted.

Advisement and Registration for Fall will be taking place till the beginning of the semester. Reach out to your advisor or any of the applicable contacts below. Advisement can be done by phone, email, or through virtual meetings, which will be set up as needed. After advisement, you can register through the .

Students experiencing any barriers should reach out directly as we want to ensure that you feel supported. We are able to connect with you through remote means and will be available daily, during regular hours of operation.

The college is operating with staff working remotely.
Students are asked not to come to campus.
All group events and activities on campus have been cancelled.

Fall Semester
The college is shifting to 94% remote or online delivery modes for fall semester. Some labs and courses requiring hands-on training will be on campus with safety precautions applied. The indicates if class is remote or not. Remote classes with times listed indicate synchronous online/video/call meeting. Check your for directions from your instructors as they may differ from course to course.

Help with remote/online learning
With the shift to distance learning, faculty will work with students to provide reasonable accommodations to ensure students can fulfill and complete their academic requirements remotely. Students who have concerns about access, equipment, and distance delivery should email their instructors so they are aware of the barriers students face.

The on campus library is closed but is available online and through . This service connects students with a professional librarian at all hours of the day. The library鈥檚 Research Guides are an excellent curated resource for all students. 

Due dates for all library materials, for students as well as faculty, will be extended to July 31st. Interlibrary Loan will not include delivery of physical resources for the time being. 

To return materials to the library you must:

  1. Email douglas.library@clinton.edu to notify the library before you plan to come to campus to return with day/time when you are planning to do so. This is a necessary step so we can notify Buildings & Grounds when individuals are coming to campus.
  2. Once you hear back from library staff to confirm the drop-off time, bring the materials to the library dropbox which can now be found outside the Stafford Building, on the west side of the building, under the canopy that faces the parking lot.

Financial Aid Refund Checks
Students expecting financial aid refunds will receive a check in the mail. Please do not come to campus to pick them up.

At this time the office is working remotely. We'll use email as the primary mode of communication. Your forms can be submitted via fax - 518-562-4373, or you may email .pdf files to financialaid@clinton.edu. Android users simply scan with Google drive and IOS users scan with the NOTE app!

All students will be notified by instructors of any schedule changes. Registration for future courses is currently postponed except for the online offerings that consist of and Professional Development Courses. In this difficult time, Clinton is working with OneWorkSource to offer funding for retraining and career changes to eligible students. Student loans may be also available.
