CCC COVID-19 Plan for Faculty & Staff
This plan has been created based on SUNY and New York State Department of Health guidelines, which focus on ensuring health and safety of our students, visitors, faculty, and staff while sustaining the delivery of quality instruction.
CCC COVID-19 Plan for Fall 2024
For students who are planning on a presence on campus this semester, SUNY recommends all students to be vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster (as soon as you are eligible to receive). Be sure to provide updated materials on vaccinations or booster to Sandra Marland, College Nurse.
While not required at this time, SUNY reserves the authority to impose a requirement for any vaccination or booster at any time because of changes in local conditions or requirements imposed by Federal, State, or local authorities.
All SUNY faculty and staff are also strongly recommended to get vaccinated.
Certain employees, students, and volunteers at healthcare facilities, including SUNY healthcare facilities and hospitals, or any external location, may be subject to mandatory COVID-19 vaccination pursuant to relevant regulations and policies.
Masks and COVID-19 testing should be available readily as needed, and use should be
encouraged. Wearing a high-quality mask along with vaccination and self-testing helps reduce transmission of COVID-19.

Campus Safety Rules
- If you believe you have Covid, take a home test and if the results are positive, send a picture to the College Nurse or Dean of Students
- Contact your Health Care provider and get rest...
- You are recommended to stay home if you have a fever.
- Contact your faculty and advise you have Covid and are looking to keep up with class assignments.
- You may return to campus 24 hours after time of positive test and your fever has been resolved or your overall symptoms are improving.
- Faculty/staff who test positive should contact HR office.

SUNY, Clinton County Health Department and Clinton CC retain the discretion to pause/cancel campus activities or move to remote classes in response to increased transmission of COVID-19. Faculty, staff and students will be notified via the Clinton CC website and other communication (media) channels as conditions are identified.
